Summer Symmetry - Summer Learning Journey Day 21.

Today for our last activity we had to play a game where we had to guess how many symmetrical sides can this shape make, here is the link to the site if you wanna check it out and give it a try: Click Here. I found this activity very exciting and fun because I like to do art and maths. I decided to try and do it digitally to make it easier! What I found challenging was rotating the images to be symmetrical.

For this activity I also made some google slides about it to make much more funner. My favorite slide would be the Radial slide because it was pretty easy to make besides the Bilateral one. What one did you like? Do you know the differences between them? The difference is that the Radial symmetry generates identical body halves around the centre, whereas! The bilateral symmetry generates only two sides, left and right.

Here are my google slides for this activity:

Camping Ground Sites Math - Summer Learning Journey Day 13.

Today for our last activity we did a math activity, where we had to try and make an equal camp site with squares with grids in them and at the end we had to do some 15 times tables to work out how much money they would've cost to stay in. I learnt a lot of different things and it was very confusing at first but got the hang of it as I went on.

I found nothing challenging other than the first few slides which were very confusing. I enjoyed most of it and I learnt some new math skills. It got harder and harder until the one where there was a toilet block in the middle and you couldn't really go through it or past it.

Here is my google slide on my maths activity:

Maths Check up - Multiplication.

This week we are focusing on times tables, we played this game to see how where we aere at with multiplication.

I found some of them hard like the 12x ones, e.g 7 x 12.

I'm trying to learn them off by heart so I can say them quick and fast.

My digital learning object shows I'm improving by practice.

Times Table Chart.

We are learning our times tables.
We are learning 2 each week to get them all correct and saying them off by heart.
This week I am learning 9x7 and 8x7.

Crack The Code Maths!

Today I was learning coding and maths at the same time.
I enjoyed figuring out the word one were it says "Rabbits Love Liquorice".
I found it challenging to work out the key one, At first I was like "What.. I don't get it!" But i eventually got it and that's what mattered!
Next time I would change the maths questions to maybe times table to challenge myself and try something new.

Binary Cards - Binary Code.

Today we went to a site called Binary Cards - Computer Science.
Our job was to make the number 45, At first I didn't quite get it but then I got the hang of it. What I did was I got the number 32 + 8 + 4 + 1 = 45! Here's my screenshot:
