Summer Learning Journey Prize.

Last year I had done the Summer Learning Journey in Room 2.
I enjoyed doing it cause it pasted time and not only was it fun it had leaded me to information I never knew about.
Sometimes I found it hard to understand some of the challenges but I would work them out soon enough!
I got a certificate some months ago for getting 1st in the blogging. I had won so JBL headphones that I still love to this day. I was happy that I completed 60 blog posts in the holidays and did 3 each day.
I got a badge to put on my blog, Here it is:

Times Table Chart.

We are learning our times tables.
We are learning 2 each week to get them all correct and saying them off by heart.
This week I am learning 9x7 and 8x7.

Help and Hinders for Refugees to adapt a new Country.

We are learning how to combine sources of information and expressing ideas for people when they may need help.
I enjoyed making this cause if it really helps someone it will make me think that my work is very useful.
I found it tricky to find helps cause when adapting a new country you don't know much about it.
My digital learning object shows that im happy helping refugees.
Next time I would make another "T" chart on something different about refugees that they may need help on like language.

Boy At The Back Of The Class - Comic Strip.

We were learning how to use visual language features.
I enjoyed spending my own time on the comic strip cause it was fun and interesting to learn more about refugees and different religions.
I found it tricky to get it done in time cause of some details and using shapes instead of pictures.
My digital learning object shows that I know lots about refugees.
Next time I would read the whole book, "The Boy At The Back Of The Class." and make a comic about the whole story.

Corpus Christi - Transubstantiation.

Yesterday we were learning about the Corpus Christi day and Transubstantiation.

Corpus Christi is Latin and means the Body of Christ Jesus' body and blood.

Transubstantiation means the conversion of the Eucharistic elements of the body and blood of Christ Jesus while the preparation of the bread and wine.

I enjoyed learning more about Corpus Christi and discovering a new word Transubstantiation.

I found it tricky to understand the meaning of Transubstantiation and first.

My digital learning object shows that I know about Corpus Christi and Transubstantiation.

Next time I would make it on a google drawing and make it more appealing and vibrant.

Flexi Physics - Boinks and Dropper Poppers.

I enjoyed trying them out and writing a story about them, "Gravity." which I have posted on my blog.
I found it tricky to write my connection between myself and the experiment.
My digital learning object shows I am getting better at understanding about gravity and force.

Gravity - Why don't we float in space when we jump?

We were learning to structure paragraphs and explain.
I enjoyed writing and learning about gravity cause I didn't know much about it at first.
I found it tricky to stick to one topic in one paragraph.

Gravity - why don’t we fly in space when we jump?
There’s a little something called gravity. Gravity feels like invisible super glue pulling us down from floating into space.

Force, Force isn’t EXACTLY like gravity but almost is, The force is basically a push or a pull causing an object to change its direction.

If you chuck a ball to the left, right, over your head or even behind you, it's going down for sure. It's as if gravity always wants things to stay the same and always go down, NEVER up…

For an example you can use a flexible type of ciol named Boinks.


Boinks.
A boink is a flexible coil/spring action. In order for it to fly up, you have to squeeze it down and let it go. That makes it more like the force because when you push it down the pressure makes it fly up because of the gravity of it being pushed down.


Dropper Popper.
Invert and drop the dome down with a ping pong ball, it’ll fly up and gravity will pull it towards the ground. Gravity is the cause of unsupported objects coming down.


Conclusion. 
No matter what direction you throw the object, it's going down for sure.
