My Circuit Construction - Lighting the Sky with Raspberry Pi.

We had been reading about Lighting the Sky with Raspberry Pi. It was about a lady who loved teaching about devices I'm pretty sure mostly computers. She visited a school in 2017 and taught them lots, They even made their own one in pairs in real life! Raspberry Pi sounds like a "Pie" but it's actually a small computer. The school was learning about Matariki so they made a circuit that looked like a star. I had got mine to work by connecting all the wires like we got told to in the example video. You firstly put a wire then put a battery almost on-top of it then get a light bulb and put it on the right side of the battery. Then get some wires and make a triangle shape or square it just has to be connected. Here's my try but on a device:

I learnt how to make an Vege Omelette! It's pretty fun but at the first time i was kinda nervous on the first time. This photo that I put on makes me hungry.

What 4 things do you miss seeing outside?

I miss seeing lots of stuff even people, Its sad how the shopping centres are all closed and it gets harder to shop online with almost everything sold out.

What do I appreciate about my friends?

I appreciate all my friends who care for me. They are funny, nice and very caring. They are always by my side whenever i'm sad.

This Special Day.

I had wrote about yesterday and what was special and fun, The most fun thing was to see my friends in a while.

Blanket Fort! (With pictures!)

Today we made blanket forts I loved mine it's so cozy. My favourite thing about it was that it had a light! Well i came up with the light idea and used a flashlight! I got a small pole rom a broken mop and and stuck in the middle of the fort and taped a flashlight onto it. I used the chairs hole where we sit to put my chromebook and headphones i even brought a snack in there too, Along with a comfy, soft pillow. It wasn't very big but it's okay for one person just like me. I found it very easy to make cause all you did was line up 4 chairs together and put a blanket over on top of it and boom done! Next time i make another one i want it to be bigger and it would be SO MUCH FUN if i had friends over and we hung out in there. Here are some photos:

My Favourite Song!

My favourite song is definitely Sunday Best, Its amazing it brings good vibes that add onto your day and make you very happy. It's also very calming a nice.

What do i do to not get bored?

Today we wrote what we do to not get bored there are many things but i chose the ones that i do the most, like alot alot.

Anzac Day Google Drawing Scene.

Today i made an Anzac Scene, I LOVED how it turned out. It was pretty hard cause I didn't know what shapes to use and that stuff but i just kept going and I absolutely love how it came out. What is happening in the scene right now was the soldier thats was on the rocks was protecting the flag and the other man but trying to kill him from what the picture i tried to copy looked like. What I learnt was:
1. There's something called body lice and i realized that it was a hard to live cause I thought they had lots of food and water.
2. I never really thought there would be rats also, and as big as a cat? wow that must be HUGE!
3. That the New Zealanders didn't have much either.. just jam, corned beef and stew and hard biscuits must be hard.

Isolation. What do you appreciate about your Family?

Self Portrait.

Today's writing task for today was to make a self portrait and i played around with mine and tried to make it look pretty and i think it might of worked. We had to write our mood and "Today I" which basically means why you were happy.

What's the difference between an archaeology and a paleontologist?

This week i was learning to analyse and synthesise.

I enjoyed reading about it, it was very very interesting.

I found it challenging to put my words in detail as if i were actually the one talking about them.

My digital learning object shows i know how to analyse and synthesise.

Next time i would find another one of these people and write a quality piece of writing on them.

My Lockdown Diary 16th April.

I starting to write a diary everyday and tell what i do in the lockdown.

The Easter Story RE.

Today we learnt how to retell stories, I retold the Easter Story about Jesus's crucifixion.
I found easy to put it in my words cause there were lots of synonyms you could use while writing a story very easily.
What i found tricky was to put my words in detail and make it a really good story such as i have written it.
My digital learning object shows that i can use slides and make a good slide/story and learning to retell.
