Summer Haiku Poem - Summer Learning Journey Day 5.

For our last activity we had to make a haiku poem about summer! I loved doing this because I like making poems, mainly about summer. A haiku poem is a poem with 3 lines, the first line, 5 syllables, middle line, 7 syllables, last line, 5 syllables.

I like making haiku poems because they are so easy and fun to make. My poem was based on summer and I got inspiration from a photo!

Here is what I made:

Tino pai! This is good! I really liked how you explained yourself in the introduction of this activity because it gave me some understanding behind the words you chose. “I remember the sea breeze” is a good line because i feel as though there are a few people who could relate to it, me being one. I live next to the beach so i tend to spend a lot of my summer time along the beach going for walks and swims and the breeze along the sea on a hot day is absolutely beautiful. What is your favorite thing about summer?

Don't be shy to reply to my comment in the section below. Keep up the awesome mahi, you are doing a great job.

I also love how the sea breeze just gushes across your face on a hot day! My favourite thing about summer is going out for nice walks and especially going out for a swim.
What do you like to do in summer?
