10 sentance story Summer Learning Journey:

10 Sentance Story:

One day before a few days from my brithday i asked for a trampoline for my present. The other day i went to the warehouse to go get it it goes up to 12ft. The other day we decided to set it up we didnt know there was a hot day ahead of us. We sturggled alot trying to figure out how to make the basic shape. Also that aswell we were in the sun for almost the whole day. We came up with an amazing idea. We got a stick and tried to put the shale together cause it wasnt fitting in its slot. We finally got it but needed to go back inside and come back tommorow. The next day we did it in the morning i was still asleep like always. But we made it! We had so much fun jumling but the amount of sweat we jad was kinda worth it. !

  1. Hello Manvi,
Wow. I can see you have a story with a beginning, middle and end, even with small number of sentences. I hope you enjoy your trampoline for a long time. That will make all your sweat worth it.

  2. Kia Ora Manvi,

Trampolines are so much fun! How lucky that you got one for your birthday, I’m sure you will make heaps so awesome memories with it! Have you ever had a trampoline before? Personally, I have never had one, but I always used to have so much fun on one at my friends house!

Ka Pai on your problem solving! You came across many problems/barriers when building your trampoline, but you were able to solve them all! What is another example of a time you had to problem solve?

Make sure you are keeping an eye on the punctuation in your sentences when you are writing a story! Commas are a very good way to make a sentence not feel like it is dragging on!
