If i was allowed to change my name Summer Learning Journey Day 3:

If i was ever allowed to change my name it would be "Marie". I like that name cause in french its basicakly Mary and Mary gives me the thought of Mary Mackilop, Mary always inspired me to do things although she is my house colour as well!

    I was delighted to read your post about what you would change your name to if your got the chance. Marie is an awesome name! I really like the meaning behind the name that you chose, and I think that it is great that Mary Mackilop is your role model because I think that she is a very inspirational women!

    I noticed that you said that Marie basically means Mary in French. I did not know this! Do you speak any other languages other than English? Or are you learning one? If you could speak any other language in the world what would it be? Personally I would want to learn Dutch, because that is what they speak in the Netherlands - which is where I’m from! I would also really like to be able to speak Māori well because I think that it is a part of our culture here in New Zealand!
