ReplyDeleteValerie Adams was definitely someone who changed the sport of shot put in the eyes of many New Zealanders, she is someone who pushed past many barriers to follow her dreams. She is an amazing woman!
I noticed that you found out that Valerie Adams has a best throw of 21.24 meters for outdoors and 20.54 metres for indoors, why do you think there is a difference between the two scores?
It is so cool how Valerie Adams has won many gold so many times against the best players in the world. How do you think she felt the first time she won a gold medal in a big event (e.g. Olympics, Commonwealth Games…)? What is an example of a time where you have felt proud of an accomplishment you have achieved?
