Dear Jacinda Summer Learning Journey:

Dear Jacinda: I want you or to tell everybody to partly stop throwing things out in the rivers or just dumping where ever, If we stop or you tell US to stop then that could make a big BIG change. What i would like you to do about it is.. first probably tell people, Tell them how that can affect world wide and i mean ALOT, She should also make a job, A job where a couple of people just stand by the river to see if people dump. Now people reading this might think "oh.. why would she ,make a stupid job for someone to watch the river!?" Well in that case ill tell you why, If we keep polluting our oceans our turtles are gonna die! I feel like we to take action, we need to make a move and STOP polluting. -Manvi

  1. Kia Ora Manvi,

Pollution is a very big issue in our country and all around the world today! I agree! Water pollution is definitely one of the biggest problems in New Zealand, which is very sad!

Jacinda has began to try and reduce the pollution in New Zealand by removing all single-use plastic bags from stores - this is so cool! Plastics bags were such a big part of the pollution here, but not anymore! What are some other ways we could start reducing the amount of plastic that we use?

Recycling is also another thing that we can do at home that is great for the environment!
