1 Fact. Traditional Prosthetics can cost thousand of dollars and need to be replaced as children grow.
What suprises me: somthing that suprises me is actually the fact they are real i never learnt about this before either they look interesting and remind me of robots..

ReplyDeleteProsthetic hands (and other body parts) are very helpful for a lot of people, but can be very expensive and hard to get. Some people are actually forced to give up their hobbies/jobs after losing hands/limbs and not being able to receive prosthetics.
I agree! The way prosthetics work and how they look can be very surprising - especially if you hadn’t heard of them before! They are very interesting pieces of technology! I like how you compared them to robots, they are a bit similar, aren't they? Do you know anyone who has a prosthetic hand?
The picture you included definitely reminds me of a robot - very cool!
